Father's Day Prayer Cards: Are available near the baptismal font in church. Happy Father's Day!
AC in church: One of our AC systems in church is not cooling properly. The cry room near the school, especially, is very warm. Until repairs are made, we will have fans in place in the cry room. Children are also welcome in the church, of course!

Love to pass on the faith? If you are interested in leading children to an encounter with Jesus, we would love to have you on the Family Faith Formation team as a catechist. To help with grades K-5, contact Shannon at shaddad@maryqueenofpeace.org; to help with grades 6-11, contact Dylan at dmitchell@maryqueenofpeace.org. Meanwhile, registration for our Family Faith program (formerly PSR) will open soon! Thank you to those who have filled out the initial registration form.
COMING UP
June 17: Flag retirement ceremony. Boy Scout Troop 310 will lead a flag retirement ceremony Saturday at 1:30pm, in coordination with American Legion Post 415 at the Lions Club hall, 720 Lafitte St., Mandeville. Refreshments will be provided. Retired and active duty service members will be honored and are welcome.
Week of June 19 and June 26: Get your picture taken for our parish photo directory and get a free 8x10 and a free directory! Plenty of room June 29-July 1: Click here now and sign in as la109, password: photos. We also need helpers to fill time slots on photo session days to help check people in. Sunday, June 25: Say farewell to Fr. Harry and Fr. Francis, after the 8, 9:30 and 11:30 Masses, in the Parish Center.
Saturday/Sunday, July 1/2: Fr. Robert Cooper, our new pastor, and Fr. Stephen Okoro, parochial vicar, arrive. There will be an opportunity to greet them after all Masses.
July 15: Open house at the home of Msgr. Bilinsky! Noon to 3 p.m. Good will donations for poor villages in Ukraine appreciated. See the flier here.
Sunday, July 30: Fr. Cooper's Installation Mass, at 11:30 a.m., with a reception to follow.
Sunday, August 6: High school grads and those returning to college are invited to the 6 p.m. Mass, with dinner to follow in the cafeteria. Click here to register!
